When servicing your 100 series tractor here is a list of thing we do:
- Clean engine and cooling system (If we find a mouse nest we have to remove all the blower housings and remove the nest. If left in engine or allowed to rebuild it will ruin the engine. If you see mice in your storage area, use mouse bait to control the problem.)
- Clean air filter box and replace both air filters with new John Deere Filters
- Replace fuel filter
- Service battery...Clean bith terminals inspect for leaks and damage. Replace hardware if needed. Load test battery and charge as necessary treat terminals as needed to help prevent corrosion. Remember that a battery does need checking for fluid level during the summer. They are not maintenance-free.
- Check spark and replace spark plug.
- Check air pressure in all 4 tires.
- Check deck for proper level both front to rear and side to side.
- Clean underneath deck with scraper.
- Lubricate spindles as necessary.
- Sharpen and balance blades and reinstall on deck.
- Inspect idler arm and pulleys on mower deck for wear and also check mower deck belt.
- Inspect drive system including belt and all pulleys and idlers on tractor drive system.
- Adjust electric PTO clutch as necessary.
- Change engine oil and oil filter.
- Lubricate front spindles and center pivot for steering.
- Clean fuel pump screen.
- Inspect brakes and adjust as necessary.
- Check machine for correct operation.
*We use only original John Deere parts.
Not all tractors have the same service preformed on them, all of our other series tractors do have more service preformed on them because their are big and have different components. If you would like a list of the service preformed on another model please email shnnybaba@yahoo.com .
